Grand Forks Lodge

We stay at this hotel every Time we stay in grand forks. I usually rate this a 5 star, but unfortunately they were very under staffed. This means the breakfast was nothing to brag about like it has been in past years. The pool was out of order, which they told us about after we had checked in, but go ahead to use the spa. Well the spa jets were also not working. So you got to sit in hot water to use it. If you wanted towels, you had to go to front desk to get. When I asked them about the rewards program that I had signed up for many years ago. They did not know about any program that the hotel offered. The rooms were still nice and clean as they usually are. We were just a little surprised by the pool and hot tub not working, and breakfast was bare minimum. Also coffee machine was out of order. They also use to serve what they called a managers dinner during the week, well that was now only 1 evening and it was vegetable soup. Next time we go out, we will be confirming if everything works. We probably won’t stay here unless things improve for the next trip.

comfortable and quite clean. helpful staff and good well stocked breakfast even 1/2 hour before closing. the building could be updated as far as paint and decor. nice hot tub. the pools quite shallow and small but good for kids.

Great hotel for families! Our room was very nice - 2 queen beds & a sofa bed. Great price. Loved how theres lots of lights and tables. Clean and smells good even lobby and the rest of the hallway. Breakfast is ok - sausage and waffles were good. Loved how this hotel was very close to everything. Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly as well. Will come back for sure.

Stayed 5 nights Feb 2025 for business. WiFi was good. Water pressure was good. Breakfast had hot options and was very standard. Facilities were standard. Vehicle needed for food and activities. Standard stay. Would explore other hotels in area next visit. Nothing bad to say, nothing above standard.

We stayed in a two queen suite with a pull out couch. The rooms were nice and large for a family of 5. The pool and spa is so nice for the kids to play in while I relaxed in the spa after a long day of shopping in Grand Forks. I like the fitness room for a early morning work out and my children enjoyed the games room. Hotel is clean, and staff are friendly. The only thing I wasn’t impressed was their breakfast, very basic scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, waffles,I’ve stayed at other hotels in Grand Forks where the breakfast was much better and there was meat included and fresh fruit. The only thing fresh was to make your own waffle which is why I gave this hotel a 4 star, if breakfast was better I would have rated it 5 stars. Travelling with kids and having a good breakfast included is important for us.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The hot tub is fantastic. The shower heads in the rooms are very small and make for an unenjoyable and cold shower. Even if the water is good and hot, the spray steam is so small that it is hard to stay warm in the shower.

The staff is lovely. Attentive, informative and professional. They make the needed noisy renovation work tolerable. The rooms are spacious, and as clean as possible for a dated hotel.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with my family and everything was perfect! Our room was clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were yummy. Located right across the splashers of the sea.
